Bangabandhu satellite ground station will be inaugurated tomorrow
The Ground Station of Gazipur will be inaugurated on Tuesday at Bangabandhu Satellite-1.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Bangabandhu conference center in the video conference.
Deputy Commissioner of Gazipur Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir confirmed the information.He said the concerned officials, including local MPs from Ground Station Campus of Telipara, Gazipur, will attend the event at 10am tomorrow.
The government hopes that this satellite will save Bangladesh 14 million dollars annually for foreign satellite rental. At the same time, you can earn huge amount of money by paying rent to countries like Nepal, Bhutan.
